FOZ de la RAMALLOSA

Estuary located at the mouth of the Miñor River, protected from the sea’s action by the sand strip of Playa Ladeira, forming an ecosystem of great natural value. 

Beaches

In addition to Playa Ladeira, the largest beach in the municipality (1.7 km), Baiona has a wide variety of beautiful beaches with diverse and unique characteristics.

Monterreal Peninsula

Surrounded by 3 km of walls (12th to 17th century), the Monte Boi Peninsula houses the Monterreal Fortress and the Parador, composing a set worthy of visiting and walking.

Historic Center

Declared a Site of Historical-Artistic Interest in 1993, it has three access points: through Santa Liberata Square, Padre Fernando Square, and from the Trinity Cross. In addition to its natural beauty, Baiona offers multiple scenic, historical, ethnographic, and gastronomic attractions, forming an incomparable natural and cultural heritage, full of alternatives for enjoyment and vital enrichment. 

Monte Boi Promenade

It surrounds the peninsula of the same name, starting and ending at La Palma Park, offering unparalleled views of the town and its entire maritime environment. o

Pedestrian and Cycling Path

Next to the apartments runs a pedestrian and cycling path (14 km), which connects to the circular path of Monte Boi to the south and reaches the port of Panxón (Nigrán) to the north. 

Virgin of the Rock

With a height of 15 meters, the stone sculpture by Antonio Palacios has a spiral staircase inside that leads to the boat-viewpoint held by the Virgin in her right hand.

SERRA da GROBA

Rising up to 630 meters in altitude, apart from its beautiful views and ethnographic richness, it is home to the largest concentration of native equine breeds living in the wild. 

Caravel La Pinta

The caravel Pinta, captained by Martín Alonso Pinzón, was the first to return from Columbus’s expedition (Baiona, 01/03/1493), giving rise to the current Arribada Festival. 

CAMINO de SANTIAGO

Just 100 meters from the apartments runs the Portuguese Coastal Way of Saint James, which departs from Baiona, crossing the Miñor River via the Romanesque Bridge of La Ramallosa. 

Water Sports

At Playa Ladeira and Baiona in general, there are multiple opportunities to practice water sports (sailing, paddle surfing, etc.) or rent boats or jet skis. 

Excursion to the Cíes Islands

From the Marina and the Maritime Station, there are various options to visit the incomparable natural park of the Cíes Islands… You can’t miss it!
